| Hey everyone,
Long time no talk. It's been a crazy life out here in Oklahoma -- I just took my car back to the Chevy dealership for the SECOND time. Grrr. The air conditioning is NEVER going to get fixed. I just hope they have it done in time tomorrow so I can use it to pick up Pudge to go to my dog training class! I'd hate to ask someone to give both me and her a ride to class..<sigh>
I just signed up for the Zoo biology and Management class (Zool 4533) this May. I am SOO excited! It is going to be so great to get to work hands on with zoo animals and spend the whole day at the zoo for two weeks plus some time for an internship.
Then, when that class is over, I get to decorate and move into my room for next semester and then be a bridesmaid in my friend Laura's wedding! Yikes!

| There is SNOW! Believe it or not, Oklahoma finally has snow. It's almost unbelieveable:) Does this mean maybe, maybe my horse show will be cancelled this weekend so then I could have some Ben-time? But then, if the weather is that bad, he may not be able to come here... though us Vermonters, we got the snow-thing down. Lol. It's just those other Oklahoma drivers you have to watch out for. Believe me, guys, I know from personal experience that Oklahoma needs some updates to their drivers' ed test. (My friends not included). Guess what? I think I'm going to ride in the show next weekend, so you all should come watch! If you can't see me, at least stop by and see what it's all about. The indoor is heated

| So...long time no talk! An update is much due. I've been absolutely out straight dealing with car stuff the last few months, so here's a picture of my car that was and a little info for those of you who don't live with me/around me. :) I was driving to church last semester (toward I 35 on Highway 51 -- dangerous road; never drive it in the dark!!) when someone ran a stop sign driving on highway 86(?) to Perkins.
I slammed my brakes, but it wasn't fast enough. Instead of slowing down at the stopsign like I predicted, the white Buick went sailing through the intersection, right in the path of my beautiful Chevy Prism (I had just gotten it back from the shop from a) being re-painted and fixed from a parking lot accident and b) getting new tires). We spun around and then I didn't wake up until I was on the opposite side of the median, facing the opposite direction. I tried to get up, but couldn't, so reached for my cell and call 911. The only time I've ever called 911! The EMTs got there and took me to the Stillwater hospital -- a painful 10 minute ride where the EMT tried to give me an IV -- trust me, NEVER let someone give you an IV in an ambulance. What did I need it for anyway?
Anywho, I found out that my foot was broken, my leg was lacerated from my jeans and I had quite a few bruises. But nothing compared to what could have been. I thank God every day for my life and my health. Did you know that seatbelts aren't guaranteed to work over like 40 miles per hour? That usually in accidents over 60 (combined...ours was like 100 combined) they burn up?
My foot is healing -- I can almost run again and I can definitely drive and ride, though without stirrups. My new car is coming this weekend!!! A new red Chevy Prism with cruise control and automatic locks. Anyone need a ride anywhere?
It's good to be back though, and my classes are excellent. Organic won't be as hard as I thought, but French is gonna be a killer! Lit II...Hmm..what was I thinking when I enrolled? We'll see about it;-P
Peace out -- if my schedule stays the same, I should be posting more often!

| Weblogging rules. But I'm not kidding you, this semester is tough and I don't have much time for logging anymore. One more week and I'll have a few days' break! Yippee! This week'll be a complete nightmare though -- worst than finals and dead week rolled into one, so please be praying for me, guys. Five tests and four essays due.. YUCK. I'll get through it. I'm scared out of my mind about Genetics' tomorrow AM...I sure hope it goes okay!
Love you all, and if I get short with you, please forgive me..I'll be better next week:)
